We had a great time this last holiday weekend! The weather was great! Everyone seemed to really have a wonderful time with our amenities and our activities. The pool was definitely a popular activity! Everyone loved the new heater and salt water system and said it felt great! We did handprint crafts and necklace crafts. We had an ice cream social, candy bar bingo and of course WATER WARS! Luke Malone did a great country western concert and we also had a Gospel choir perform. Sunday night we had karaoke night and it was so much fun! Some of our regular campers had the great idea of dressing up like a bunch of loud women and singing “Girls just wanna have fun”. It was so great seeing our repeat campers and also having some new campers join us for one of our best weekends yet! We are ready for summer and a great camping season!

Hey all you campers! We hope you had a great weekend because I know we did! This past weekend we enjoyed our annual Cinco De Mayo weekend. We had a pinata filled with candy and toys for all the kids. We cooked up tacos and homemade beans for our mexican pot luck. It was a beautiful weekend here in the park. Everyone really enjoyed our pool and the new equipment in it works wonderfully!

 We are starting to get ready for our Mother's Day Weekend. We will be having activities all day Saturday and also a waffle breakfast on Sunday morning. We will offer three different ingredients for your own personal homemade waffles, chocolate chips, pecan, or blueberries! YUMMY! Moms will get to eat free on their special day!

We just finished opening up our pool. We had a new heater and salt water system installed and we are so excited! It is looking beautiful! We hope to see you here at Great Smoky Jellystone soon!

We had such a great time with all of our campers over Easter! We had egg decorating, an egg drop competition, egg toss, relay games, karaoke, movies, and of course YOGI BEAR! We had a night time flashlight Easter egg hunt and another one on Sunday morning with Yogi Bear. We had about 1000 eggs in all! Everyone had a great time and the weather was wonderful! We hope to see you all again next year!

This last weekend was our annual Chocolate Lovers Weekend. There was so much chocolate! We started out with a fun activity of making a yummy snack with Chex mix, melted chocolate, powedered sugar and marshmallows! Then we had a pie eating contest and a yoohoo chug! Talk about a lot of chocolate! It was a fun weekend for sure! We are looking forward to more fun weekends. We are already gearing up for our big Easter Weekend with not one, but two egg hunts!

Spring is here! That can mean only one thing here at Jellystone...great camping weather! It's been beautiful here and we are so excited to have happy campers for a visit! We are gearing up for another exciting Easter this year. We will be having our flashlight egg hunt and another egg hunt Sunday morning with Yogi Bear! There's plenty of eggs to go around along with crafts, movies, karaoke and more! If you are thinking about any dates for this year, just give us a call and one of the family members here will be glad to help!

We have changed several things for the 2012 season to increase your value here at Great Smoky Jellystone! We are only charging for children during our holidays, off-season weekends, and in season. We are also adding a camper available to rent. It is a 38' 5th wheel with 4 slides. Pictures will be available soon under our rentals page! We have lowered to price on some of our camping sites. We had such a blast during our 2011 season here at Great Smoky Jellystone! Yogi Bear is sleeping for the winter! But he will be back for all the fun next year! We are getting ready for a great 2012 season!  We will open early this year, March 2nd. If you know what days you want, give us a call because the sites go faster and faster every year!

Thank you to all of our campers that make our job so much fun! We will be taking these next few months to work on the park and update it for next year. I hope everyone has a safe holiday season and we hope to see you next year!
