Mr. Ranger’s Cabin

Mr. Ranger’s Cabin is a historical log cabin that sits right on a mountain stream which flows directly from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The cabin is beautifully restored with a luxurious decor. The cabin includes 2 bedrooms 1 & ½ bath, fully equipped kitchen, and cable TV w/ DVD player.  Legend has it that this cabin was taken out of the National Park and if it spoke, it would tell you of the Cherokee Indians that passed to trade with white settlers who lived there. The cabin is within walking distance to the popular Albright Trail that leads the famous Appalachian Trail. Mr. Ranger’s Cabin sits right on the border of the Great Smoky Jellystone Camp- Resort and all the amenities of the camp-resort are included in your stay. Take a seat on the wooden swing on the cabin’s screened porch and relax as you listen to the rushing of the stream flow by.

(Our rate includes 5 people. Any extra people are $5 per night.)

Policies for Mr. Ranger’s Cabin:

Reservation Information: There is a two night minimum year round and four night minimum for in season for Mr. Ranger’s Cabin and the Eagle’s Nest Condo. Half of the total is required at time of reservations. If guest cancels more than 21 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, guest’s 50% reservation deposit will be refunded minus a 10% fee on total site charges, pre tax. If guest cancels less than 21 days prior to the arrival date, guest will receive a credit towards a future stay with Great Smoky Jellystone that must be redeemed within one year of cancellation otherwise the full deposit is forfeited. The remaining balance is to be paid upon check in. No refunds will be issued due to weather of road conditions. No refunds will be made for early departures, delayed arrival, or for reducing the number of nights reserved. NO REFUNDS ON ARRIVAL!

What we supply for Mr’ Ranger’s Cabin and Eagle’s Nest Condo: We will provide bed and bath linens. We provide the initial dish soap, hand soap, dish washer soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. These items will not be replenished during Guest’s stay. Please DO NOT take any of the unused items listed above or the guest’s credit card will be charged accordingly.

Departure: Leave your rental in the same order as your arrival. Leave kitchen, dishes, utensils, and grill clean. Leave the garbage or trash sealed in plastic bags and set them outside the front door. Clean out any food and beverages from the refrigerator. Please place dirty sheets and towels on the floor by the beds. Leave lights, televisions, and other appliances turned off. Leave heat at 55 degrees in the winter and the air conditioning at 80 degrees in the summer. Leave all windows and doors closed and locked. Failure to comply with these procedures will result in a $100 charge to Guest’s credit card. The guest is responsible for any abuse, damage excessive cleanup requirements, and for any loss of contents in the rental units. A minimum of $45 will be charged if excessive cleaning is required. Any damages or excessive cleaning will be billed to your credit card immediately.
There will be a $35 cleaning fee added to reservation total.

Credit Card: Guests provide their credit card number as a guarantee. Guests agree to pay all rent, accept all terms of the rental agreement and accept all liability for any damage beyond normal wear and tear during the term of Guest’s stay with Great Smoky Jellystone. If the guest fails to do so, the guest understands that these costs will be charged to their credit card, and all sales are final.

Maid Service: Maid service is not provided during guest’s stay.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside rental units, screened porch, or balcony. Guest’s are requested to dispose of cigarette butts in garbage can. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $200 security/ damage charge to guest’s credit card.

No Show Policy: All advanced payments will be forfeited if guest(s) fails to check-in.

Insects: While all units are sprayed monthly by a professional pest control company, wasps, ladybugs, and other insects sometimes affect rental units. We are in the Great Smoky Mountains and sometimes we have unwanted little guests that might decide to visit.

Maintenance & Unit Care: Please report any damage or shortage of furnishings or equipment immediately. Don’t assume some else has already reported the damage! Set the air conditioner at your comfortable temperature upon arrival. Please do not turn off heat during cold weather. Sometimes even the best appliances malfunction, and we cannot guarantee them to perform 100% of the time. We do, however, guarantee to correct any problem as soon as possible during appropriate hours. If you call after hours to report something and it is a true emergency, then you will do everything we can to help.

Owner’s Closet: The owner maintains an area in both rental units that is locked for storage and is not included in these rentals.

Valuables and Pets: We can not be responsible for personal property lost or damaged during your stay or items left after you leave. Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets.

Construction Noise/Acts of God: Great Smoky Jellystone Camp-Resort shall not be liable for events beyond it’s control which may interfere with guest’s stay. Including, but not limited to, Acts of God, acts of governmental agencies, fire, strikes, war, inclement weather and construction noise from nearby land. NO REFUND will be offered in these circumstances!

Occupancy: Guests understand that Great Smoky Jellystone will accept families, married couples, and responsible adults over the age of 21 ONLY. Guests agree that NO more than the number of people stated on the reservation request, shall occupy the rental units overnight. Guests certify that they have read carefully the limitations placed on the number of persons permitted to occupy the premises, and agree to abide by such limitations. If not, the guests will be asked to vacate the cabin which will result in loss of total rental deposits with no refund.

Firearms/ Fireworks: The use of firearms or fireworks is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate eviction and loss of the reservation deposit and all previous payments.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless: Guest agrees to indemnify and save harmless Host for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost, or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation, which may arise out of or in connection with guest’s use and occupancy of the Rental units, including but not limited to any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or theft of property which is made, incurred, or sustained by Guest.
